Art affects Design. This simple statement (coined by Canadian Singer/songwriter Cheryl Gaudet) speaks elegantly to the site protocol of ArtAffectsDesign.com. The central role of design in our everyday lives may be animated with an artistic sense. The two combine to form a closed-loop of artistic design. Regard the animated logo to observe a closed-loop relationship between art and design. In the logo, ‘Art’ figuratively and literally affects ‘Design’, as the decorative font of ‘Art’ flows through the animated gif to affect the more formal font of ‘Design’, morphing the font from formal to decorative.
